Thyroid problems/para thyroid problems?
hiya, About 2 years ago i had my para thyroids removed due to having high calcuim. I went o the doctors today becuse i have being putting on excessive weights she say it may be my thyroid playing up so i hav had bloods done. Is it common to have problems with thyorids are having para thyroids removed. Im really worried as last tim i went into hospital i as really ill with it and dont wana go through it again. Is the doctor jut being extra cautious with me due to my past
If my thyroid blood tests are normal, can I still be para thyroid?
and can parathyroid be treated with drug therapy or would I need surgery?
How is an elevated para thyroid level made normal ?
When a para thyroid level is high .. how can the level be made normal ?

my daughter has had the surgery and is having trouble getting her calcium levels to rise.It is very low.Her surgery was on Aug.29th.and her surgeon has her taking extra strength Tums and now a prescription for more calcium.She is not feeling very well at all ,so I would appreciate your input.Thanks.
