What are the dangers of using Stacker 2 Ephedra Free in general? What if someone has thyroid antibodies?
A friend of mine is planning to try this, and because it's Ephedra free she thinks it's safe? What do some of you think? Also, she does not have hypothyroidism, but does have thyroid antibodies and occasional fluctuations with her TSH results but nothing major , so she may eventually develop it. The label on this product says if you have thyroid disease not to use it. Wouldn't this also apply to her, or could it make things worse? What can she use to boost her energy and burn fat without worsening her health? I'm thinking there is nothing other than patience and hard work. Here is a breakdown of the product evitamins.com product.asp?pid 1239I'm thinking even if she loses the weight, the moment she stops taking the product, she'll gain back more.

Just recently, a lump came up under my adam's apple. The radiologist said it was a water bubble blister thing. Then I also had a blood test and the results were that there was an abnormally amount of 2 certain antibodies in my thyroid. Normal count for these antibodies were 20s 30s, but mine were 800s and 700s. Does anyone know what happening to me? My pediatrician said that my thyroid was still working properly and hasn't been affected yet and that i am still normal.

Update to thyroid condition - Thyroid nodule, and thyroid antibodies. Can it be Cancer?
Hi this is an update to my previous question on thyroid problems.I had ultrasound of my neck today, and there is one nodule on the right side of the thyroid.I took some off the advice i received in previous question, however i couldnt figure out how to post this on the same topic.Thats why i have posted this new question, I wanted to thank the people that did answer my first Q, it was very helpful. I really appreciated it.I went to another doctor who actually took the time to examine my neck, and thought it would be a good idea to get an US done, and test my Iodine, Selenium, and Vitamin D levels. I get my results tomorrow. The nodule was obvious on the ultrasound, i noticed it on the screen, very small, also asked the technician, and she said that there was one there.By the way I am male and 35 years old.I have high thyroid antibodies levels, only peroxidase was high ref my previous question which is suggestive of hashimotos, does hashimotos present with nodules on the thyroid as well? is that common?now i have this nodule and am worried it might be cancerous. If you could can you please check my previous question, and if you have have had the same thing happen to you please let me know.Would like to know, just to put some of my stressing at ease Thanks

Anyone know how to read a thyroid antibodies test?

Has anyone tried homeopathy to lower high thyroid antibodies?
I was wondering if anyone has had any success in lowering their thyroid antibodies through homeopathy. If so, how many times did you have to visit your homeopathist? I'm asking this because I was told it would cost me 200 dollars per visit which would be fine if I only had to go once or twice

If I have thyroid antibodies...?
Will I eventually die from it? I just found out that I have thyroid antibodies. I wasn't having a test specifically for my thyroid, so I'm assuming I will get another blood test to see what's going on...Maybe this is a really stupid question, but from what I am finding it sounds like medicines can slow the progression of whatever is going on, but the antibodies will eventually destroy my thyroid. Is that true?? Will I die from it??

Thyroid antibodies over 3000?
I just had some bloodwork..haven't seen doc yet.just got results that my thyroid antibodies are over 3000. I want to get some info and questions to ask when I see the doctor.I was told on the phone that the levels were within normal range, but the antibodies were over 3000. I have these various annoying symptoms i.e.temp.fluctuation, joint pain, hand pain, muscle aches, sleeping problems I do take lorazapam for sleep , and other annoying daily things happening. It's been going on for so long, I just learned to deal with them but I'm at the point where it's just annoying. Doing some research led me to think Hashimoto as well. I am seeing my family doc should I go to an endocrinologist?TSH 1.12T4, Free 1.2Thyroglobulin antibodies > 3000Throid peroxidase antibodies 191

High Thyroid antibodies and low TSH?
When I was 16 I was told I had an enlarged thyroid but my tsh levels always came back " normal" .. I've always been an anxious person, I am 25yrs old and lately I've been suffering from severe anxiety, panic attacks that I can no longer calm myself down on my own, and depression. My doctor was out of the country at the time, so I seen another doctor in the same practice who wanted to test my thyroid since it was enlarged and wanted to rule that out because in same cases thyroid problems have been linked to anxiety and depression. My TSH level came back 1.67 but my thyroid antibodies came back at 296 outside the normal range. I got referred to an endocrinologist who indicated hashimotos but didn't elaborate. She did an ultrasound and said I had some irregularities to my thyroid and a goiter, but she wasn't concerned because it wasn't " that bad" and I wouldn't need a specialist. She said just get my TSH checked yearly. She did another TSH test. Well I get my results back and my TSH level went down to .57 in a month and I still feel horrible. I've tried 4 different antidepressants and nothing seems to work Anyway, I was wondering if my problem could be thyroid related. I am seeing my regular doctor tomorow to discuss this. Has anyone had the same problem and had to fight to get a diagnosis?
